ELL (UK) POLICIES

  1. Eritrean Lowlanders League (UK) is 

committed to pro-actively opposing both direct and indirect discrimination, through policy and practice in:

  • Management

  • The recruitment, training, and development of staff, paid and unpaid

  • Service delivery

  • Affiliation

2. Eritrean Lowlanders League (UK) will actively seek to raise consciousness, within the organisation and amongst members and users, of the various forms of discrimination, a promote policy and practice, which challenge and/or prevent them.

3. Eritrean Lowlanders League (UK)

 will promote the development of good equal opportunities practice within the community sector.

4. Eritrean Lowlanders Lague (UK)

 will challenge practices, legislation and institutions that seek to discriminate against or curb the rights of individuals or groups.

5.  Eritrean Lowlanders League (UK) seeks to be a model of good equal opportunities practice. It will regularly monitor and evaluate the implementation of this policy through its policies and procedures and will report upon its findings.
